Re: Van der Bellen and Rascha from Estonia
Here some more records from the churchbooks of Kuressaare and Urvaste german congregations in SAAGA http://www.ra.ee/dgs/explorer.php
Birth record of Johann August Richard Rascha 4.7.1831 in Kuressaare: Saaga EAA.3151.1.39:327?122,1494,1003,261,0
His father F.W.Rascha was Kuressaare city book-keeper, Stadtbuchhalter.
The marriage of Johan Joseph Eduard Van der Bellen and Marie Elisabeth Koppe in Urvaste parish 22.4.1828: Saaga EAA.1270.2.10:10?70,1514,1121,201,0
At the time of their marriage Van der Bellen was lease-holder (Arrendator) of Sömerpalu (Sommerpahlen) manor, his bride a foster-daughter (Pflegetochter) of lieutenant Alexander von Möller of Järvere (Jerwen) manor, where they were wed. Later, when their son Julius Carl was born in 2.7.1830, Van der Bellen was mentioned as lease-holder of Lilli-Anne (Lühnen) manor, and later also of Peetrimõis (Petrimois) manor, all in in Urvaste parish.
For some reason, the birth record of Elisabeth Josephine Van der Bellen can not be found in the church records of Urvaste german congregation.
As Uku Velbri pointed out, apothecary Julius Carl Van der Bellen was married to a Rascha in Kuressaare - possibly a cousin of Johann August Richard Rascha.
Johann August Richard Rascha and his brother Constantin, as well as the sons of J.J.E. Van der Bellen can be found in the student records of Tartu university: http://personen.digitale-sammlungen.de/ ... 00433.html
Johann August Richard Rascha (page 465) studied pharmagology and was then apothecary in St.Petersburg, later an inspector in Novgorod, from 1881 living in Moskva. As he and his family lived in Russia, their children obviously were born there. - His brother Constantin Rascha (page 542) studied law, became then a teacher of German language at a gymnasium in Moskva, and died there 1879.

Re: Van der Bellen and Rascha from Estonia
Thank you very much everybody for the info about Rascha and Van der Bellen!
Really her brother is Karl Julius van der Bellen.
Many years ago the skiers found a tombstone in an Ural forest. The epitaph on the tombstone “Here buried Elizaveta Eduardovna Rascha, nee Van der Bellen. Was born on the 2nd of December in 18831, died 19th of August in 1884”. For many a long day I worked in an archives. I found her brothers and sister: Eduard Alexander, Aleksander Theodor Eduard, Wilhelm Robert Woldemar (russ. Vladimir), Gustav Friedrich Eduard, Karl Julius, Ida. Woldemar and his children had gold-diggings on the Ural. Her husband was apothecary in Kuschva (Ural). His name is Johann August Richard Rascha (russ. Roman Feodorovich). I found many relatives of Wilhelm Robert Woldemar and Karl Julius Van der Bellen. But I know nothing about Elisabeth Josephine Rascha (nee Vo[a]n der Bellen, russ. Elizaveta Eduardovna). Had she children? Why her a tombstone in a forest?

Re: Van der Bellen and Rascha from Estonia
Could anybody help me to translate these two documents, please:
http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA.3151.1.191:10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]Saaga EAA.3151.1.191:10[/url]

I have a question: is Arnhold Ernst August Van der Bellen son of Karl Julius Van der Bellen?
Wilhelmine Constantie Rascha is not mother of Arnhold Ernst August. She was born in 1841; Arnhold Ernst August was born in 1848. Maybe Karl Julius Van der Bellen married twice.
Svetlana. Thank you.

Re: Van der Bellen and Rascha from Estonia
Sorry, but the resolution of the pictures is not good enough to make them readable. If they refer to a website, it would be better to give the adress of the document.
Arnold Ernst August Van der Bellen was born in 4.1.1848 in Urvaste parish, Lühnen manor as son of Johann Joseph Eduard Van der Bellen and Marie Elisabeth Koppe: Saaga EAA.1270.1.194:2
So he is a younger brother of Carl Julius Van der Bellen.
