Sillman`s family oldest aunt think, that he was estonian.. born in estonia.. and maybe died in tallinna.. not for sure.
i try to seach saaga..but problem is.. church name are not in english.. and georges last name.. was it silm, sillman sildmäe or somethin else.. i didnt found george sil* .. nothing so this is difficult.

Some info from Sweden if there are any relatives
If you do not know, there Sillman Anders was born in 1839 and his wife Lovisa Eriksdotter born in 1936 in Finland.
Alive in Alnö Västernorrland

They have a child August Anders was born in 1871 in Sweden, he married 21 februari 1924 and died on September 4, 1925 in Elva Church Parish Alnö Västernorrland County Medelpad

his wife maja stina tallqvist 26.4.1803- died before george..1844??

carl august sillman 12.2.1823 - was he born in Finland or...
Do you have birth record? Was the surname already there?

In Estonia surnames came in 1835 and in Livland 1826

Looks like that Maja Stina died in 1850, not Georg. Not sure. Last activity was in 1848 so Georg died after that, between 1848-1855.

hi..ok that is good to know.. maja stina died few years earlier than george(jöran)..so 1852-1855 in maybe it.. sillmans family oldest aunt remember.

i ve found also in digitaaliarkisto I Aa:6 helsinge sockns communion bok 1816-1826 jakso 302 sivu 291 botby

I think they are different family,
in 1816-1826 rippikirja referred to page 354 in next rippikirja and there they are : http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=5604014 and there also referred to page 291 in old rippikirja.
Like you see, no surname like normal estonians

Georg and Maja Stina In 1827-1837 rippikirja referred to page 295 in old book and there they are : http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=5603253 and also referred to page 355 in new book

They both have surname, so Georg is'nt (problaby) normal estonian, maybe some kind of free or "better" estonian or german or swede or or..
And name Georg is'nt very estonian name in this time, Sillman also is very "international" surname. It's very hard to find in saaga...

There was same place in Estonia where Silman(n)/Sillman(n) surname taked to use in 1835 (1826 in Livland) but i cant find any Georg, he was in Finland already...

Only hope is to find death record, i did some research in Tallinn but nothing, it can be anywhere including ortotox (he was outsider and accident).
