I am trying to track down what happened to some distant cousins.
According to the 1811 Soul Revision List, they moved somewhere.

The other members of their family would become the "Tõnsi" family - but since they moved before being assigned last names there is no guarantee they got this name (and I couldn't track them down with that last name)

Another distant cousin would be the Isal family who moved:

I don't know Estonian geographical names as well as I should, so sorry for the troubles !

Both Hinrich and Mart have been taken to the russian army, Hinrich in 1797 and Mart in 1806. Zum Rekruten abgegeben im Jahr 1797 / 1806.

The writing in the 1858 Soul Revision List is alas so faded, that I am not able to decipher the destination of Isal family. According to the Mihkli parish Personaalraamat 1858-1873 they left in 1853, but even there the place name leaves me puzzled. Let's hope someone more knowledgeable will help. . .

I suggest that the Isal family has gone to Hanila parish Massu manor area - Massau.

I still have to find them in the personaalraamat.

And thanks for the information on Hinrik and Mart. I knew the notes said something about them and I was pretty sure that they didn't die. I will be very difficult to track them down.
