Hello!
My grandmother was Estonian and I now probe it Estonian genealogy.
I do not know Estonian, I write in English, as I am able).
I request to help me to translate a fragment about Anne, 31 year
http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA. ... 1126,460,0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
I understand that is written there, that she was wife of Yan, but something is there written yet? can be important.
Thank you!

Thank You very much!
I am from Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk.
I found many my Estonian ancestors already, but on other branches, to 17 age.
But I understand badly the gothic handwriting and I am afraid to make a mistake – therefore asked for a help.

You are in the right place for this kind of support ... there are lots of kind people here
What's the story with your grandmother, did she move to Ukraine? How, when, why etc?

Yes, I agree – and you are example to it
My grandmother emigrated from Estonia to France in 30th.
My grand-dad also emigrated to France from soviet Ukraine in 1921 (Russian squadron).
In France, my mother gave birth on Corsica.
After a 2WW grand-dad under influence of nostalgia went back into the Soviet union with a mother, and a grandmother remained in France, where she died.
Can I yet ask?
What is writed before `Mutter`? `His`?

Re: translate
1. Special notes & When one has been to Eucharist?
2. The notes here probably refer to sc. "Parochial Schein"s (often P. S.) - in Estonian "kirikutäht" - i.e. note that has been sent from the one congregation to another one when someone was moving or sth.
To my mind (I have never really worked with these, so I may be not correct!) those are to be found in "saaga" under the congregation where the schein arrived to and under the section "kirikutähed ja teatised"? And they are mostly ordered alphabetically.

Par Sch. nach Reval Karls k. II Biecht kr. - No 387 14.5.1919
"Parochiale Schein" (kirikutäht) to Tallinn church Kaarli, II section of congregation (or sth)
I would guess she is married in Kaarli church.

Re: translate
What exactly do you want to find?
The first note in the green box is about Viktor - the son of Julius and his 2. wife Johanna - the churchnote has been sent to christian free congregation [i don't know what it is] in 1934.
The second note is probably about your grandmother - Klara married in Paris in 1935 with Richard Munak, but it is not known where (in which church) exactly. Information got from the Estonian Embassy in Paris in 1935.
Julius was born in Gubanitsa and married in Moloskovitse - both in Russia (somewhere between St. Petersburg and Estonia) - some times ago quite a lot of Estonians settled therearound.
All the best!
Mari
ps. No problem, when I will be tired (or just appear to be not smart enough), someone else will help you out.

I thought that “Christian free congregation» (while you did not translate) is some parish in Tallinn

Re: translate
I am not sure but it seems to be a kind of non-lutheran nor orthodox, but still christian congregation or church, see e.g. http://www.tallinnicc.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So you are looking for what's the fate of Viktor?
