I'm looking for more information of my grandfathers military service. He is supposed to have done military service in the Tartu cavallery in 1930-31. His name was Elmar Aidas, born 1905 in Pärnu.

Is there any way to find more information about this? What records could I search in?

Yes since the parents have the same names in the marriage record, a Marri born on that day has to be the right one, it can´t be a coincidence! I wonder why she would have changed her last name, she wasn´t married before according to the marriage record. Does it say "Torrimo knecht Jürri Torbek" and ...

Yes I merged the profiles already. There was enough matching family connections and I thought the birthyear and name must be similar. The only thing a little confusing was it said somewhere Jaak was Joachims son?

No unfortunately I have no idea when they were supposed to be danish. It´s just something my grandfather told my father about my grandmother. After she had died and before I was born... So not that many clues to go by!
