What does it say?

I'm researching my grandfather Elmar Johannes Aidas' family and I came across this record (in which they call him Helmar):

http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA.1280.1.223:109

I only knew he had one sister, but here there is a second one called Hilda Johanna. Then there is a cross after her name and some notes on the right side that I can't read except the year 1919. Does this mean she died in 1919? And also there are some small notes and abbreviations that I can't read...

I also have this record of Elmars mother Helene Elblaus and her family:

http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA.1290.1.545:216

Their family is listed under her father Henrik Elblaus, but under his name I can't read the name of her mother properly. Miinna Jette... something? And am I right to read the dates of for example her father's birth-date as 24th of August 1950?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hilda Johanna died 7.07.1919 in Pärnu and was buried there.
Mother of Elmar is Mina Jette Koowit.
Dates are right.

Thank you Merle.

Where do I search for her death certificate?

So I´ve kept researching the Elblaus-side of my family. (My great-great-grandfather Henrik Elblaus family: http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA.1290.1.545:216" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). And finally I managed to find some birth certificates on my own! Except I can´t read them properly...

Here is Henrik´s birth certificate: http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA.1290.1.64:20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And here is Helene´s birth certificate: http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA. ... ,895,220,0

I´m wondering if there is any interesting biographical/geographical data in them? Does it say the occupation of Henrik somewhere or the names of his parents? (Can his father be Jaan Elblaus?)

... Also I was looking into the Aidas-side. I was trying to find the birth certificate of my great grandfather Jürri Aidas (Helene´s husband), but I can´t find it! He is born on the 27th of March 1863 according to old calendar, in Alt Tänassilma, so it should be Viljandi-Pauluse kogudus. So why isn´t he on this page? (or the one after): Saaga EAA.1290.1.78:2

Henrik Elblaus was born at the Pärsti manor (Perst Hof), his father Jaan was a coachman (Kutscher). Helene was born at the same place, father Hinrik was a miller (Müller) at that time. He has been a bailiff or overseer (Aufseher) as well.

Jüri Aidas birth record is to be found here: Saaga EAA.1290.1.77:8?1227,1642,967,295,0. You were looking at the death register, that's why you couldn't find it

Thank you Katsa! Haha, ok that explains why I couldn't find him! :) So does it say anything about the occupation of Jurris father Jaan?

So I´m looking for Henrik Elblaus mother now, trying to find her parents. She is Mina/Minna Jette Koowit, born 1861, according to the church-book (http://www.ra.ee/dgs/_purl.php?shc=EAA. ... .1.545:216). But I can´t really read where she is from? I was thinking of trying to find her birth-certificate based on that information.

When I search the indexed books on Koowit (or Koovit), in Viljandi-Pauluse kogudus, I only get these three results:
http://www.ra.ee/dgs/addon/nimreg/resul ... _fr=&e_to=

And here are the actual pages:
Saaga EAA.1290.1.532:261
The family of Johan Koovit, born 1866, which is obviously too late for being Minas family. But on the previous page there is a Jüri Koowit born 1835, which could be a reasonable year for the father of Mina to be born. But he has no family listed....

Saaga EAA.1290.1.545:452
Here there is a Mari Koowit, born 1823, maybe a little to old to be Minas mother, and no family listed. Where these people without family listed just never married and lived alone all their lives, or where they widowed?

Saaga EAA.1290.1.561:75
And the last one is a Jaan Koowit, born 1855, also too late.

So what would be the best way to find the right Koowit family in which Minna was born?
