My name is Alexander. I am from Russia, Moscow. I have an old copper bell dated 1920 which was casted by Kustav Leht.
Please inform me if your granddad Kustav Leht was the same person with that one who casted my bell? Do you have any information of his copper casting business?
I am very interested in this information as I am a collector of old animal bells and I also collect any information about the old casters, their lifes stories, business establishment, photoes etc.

I am in process of writing a book about the horse bells and it is expected to be finished by the end of the next year. I hope to find the informaton about K.Leht by that time in order to include it into the book.

Because he seems to be the proper person from the point of vew of his birthday. In 1920 he was only 60 years old man!

Teised Kustav Leht nimelised mis genis on 1920 juba surnud või liiga noored

Tänan väga vastuse eest. Olen ka ise kõik Kustav/Gustav Lehed läbi vaadanud. Asi aga selles, et kirja saatja pöördus minu poole sellepärast, et minu üks esi-isadest (tegelikult sugulane) on Kustav Leht ja selle Kustavi vanus oleks 1920. aastal olnud 60, tegelikku kellameistri vanust ta ei tea ja rohkem andmeid ei ole. Seda nime on pandud Eestimaa 11. mõisas ja ta võib olla pärit ükskõik millisest neist. Selle loogikaga seda ei lahenda, vaja oleks andmeid Eesti kellameistrite kohta.
