Subject: Greetings from Koeru


In 2008 KMM will have its 720th anniversary.
We are going to celebrate it with a discussion on KMM´s important persons .
At our 715th anniversary we had the Mickwitz-family´s visit. Gerhard von Mickwitz and his relatives offered
an interesting presentation about their family´s 111 years in Koeru.
They included Ferdinand Hoffmann also.
Is it possible for some Hoffmanns to be around on 19th & 20th July 2008
particularly because of our 720th anniversary?

19.VII - the manor-trip
There will be a trip to our parish manors, Vao included.
Hoffmanns are very welcome on this journey, too.

20.VII - sermon and conference
11.00 gottesdienst
14.00 conference
16.00 planting a Hoffmann-tree
18.00 picnic in churchyard
22.00 concert
It would be interesting to have a conference on Ferdinand and Meta Hoffmann.
Our people still remember them.
PS:
We have in mind to renew the Hoffmanns´ graveyard. There is only the cross for two little sons of Hoffmann, which is readable yet. The best solution is probably to order a stone with all names of members of the family who are resting in this grave. We need to have some research and consultations with The National Heritage Board in this subject.
