Kas sünnikohad või elu kohad?

Kas võime proovida veel üks kord? Ma olen päris algaja selle uurimisel.

I have been doing research into my esivanedmaid....several family streams. A mystery remains as to what the place names that are noted beside individuals indicate. Is it their birth place or their place of living (and working) place?

Nii et esimene konkreetne küsimus näiteks: at eaa1268_001_0000117_00053 on märkitud Hans Timpka and Anne Taader abielumine. Mida need kõrval koha nimed "Alt Laitzen" and "Lutznik" tähendavad?

I suspect it is their birth place which is not necessarily as significant as their the living place parish, village, manor house or farm etc, where the family was established. I am supposing that often the young mother-to-be went back to her mother's people for the birthing, and so the place name associating with that person has more to do with the wife's parents than the young couple themselves. Is this so? This makes it difficult to establish or follow the lives of a family line.

Teine küsimus, mitte nii konkreetne aga üldiselt oluline, kas keegi pakub arutada kuidas leida printsiipi mõttes sünni kohti ja kah elu kohti?
