Hallo

Does anyone know if Loksa congregation will appear in Saaga?

I know it first belonged to Kuusalu, but became its own congregation at the end of 1890's.
I have seen that the Mormons have microfilmed it.

Loksa parish registers (meetrikad) are in the fonds of the Kuusalu congregation in the Estonian Historical Archives. So, if once the parish registers after 1892 will be put in Saaga, then those will be available. But the registers of parishioners (personaalraamatud, start from 1920) are still in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the materials that they have, will not be put in Saaga.

Do you know how long they will be there? Is there a time limit?
Here in Sweden we have 70 years.

Unfortunately it is 110 years at the moment. The National Archives did not agree with it, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs succeeded in including their amendment (110 years) to the law.
